India ~ The foundation of serious black tea. Our NIGHT WATCH English Breakfast draws on Organic Assam TGFOP, Organic Second Flush Darjeeling, and Ceylon for a malty, full-bodied morning blend. MISO J39 Masala Chai is built on Organic Assam black tea layered with organic cloves, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, and star anise ~ all sourced for authenticity and potency.
China ~ GHOST PROTOCOL Jasmine Tea is sourced from Chinese green tea hand-layered with freshly plucked jasmine blossoms ~ a traditional production method that requires multiple rounds of scenting to achieve the floral depth that defines the style.
Japan ~ Our two Japanese offerings represent the highest tier of what Japan produces. CIPHER Ceremonial Matcha is sourced from the Matsushita Tea Garden in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka ~ stone-milled from Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari cultivars harvested in spring. BLACK MIRROR Hōjicha is crafted from carefully selected Japanese tea leaves and stems, roasted and stone-milled into a smooth, toasty powder with low caffeine and deep umami character.
Sri Lanka (Ceylon) ~ JICSOC J39 Earl Grey is built on Ceylon black tea from Sri Lanka ~ one of the most respected origins for classic Earl Grey ~ blended with bergamot oil and blue cornflower petals for floral lift and citrus depth.
South Africa ~ Two of our caffeine-free offerings draw on South African Rooibos. BLACK CHAMBER Hibiscus Berry Rooibos layers organic hibiscus flowers, rosehips, and orange peel over a Rooibos base with organic fruit flavors for a sweet, berry-forward cold brew or hot steep. SLEEPER CELL Apple Cider Rooibos elevates South African Rooibos with cinnamon, orange peel, and licorice root for a spiced, warming cup.
Multi-Origin Blends ~ Several teas in our lineup draw from multiple origins to achieve a specific flavor profile. HONEY TRAP Mango Treat Tea, THE FARM Peach Paradise Tea, and SHADOW OPS Moroccan Mint each combine ingredients from different growing regions to produce a balanced, consistent result that no single origin can deliver alone.

Why Loose Leaf Always Outperforms Bagged Tea
Loose leaf tea isn't a preference ~ it's a performance advantage.
When tea leaves are ground into dust and packed into paper bags, surface area increases dramatically. That sounds like a benefit until you understand that increased surface area means faster oxidation ~ flavor compounds degrade faster, aroma dissipates more quickly, and the tea becomes one-dimensional within months of packaging.
Full-leaf and high-grade loose leaf tea retains its essential oils, aromatic compounds, and structural complexity far longer. When steeped properly ~ at the right temperature for the right duration ~ loose leaf delivers a range of flavor, aroma, and body that bagged dust simply cannot replicate.
